I spent close to 2 decades of my professional life as an artist in the field of Liturgical Art. After completing a 3-tiered site-specific art project in Mississippi in 2006, I made the decision to take a break and explore, experiment and create art in a variety of mediums. I am now in my 7th decade on this planet and I intend to continue my journey of creating for as long as I am able. I sometimes will create a series based on an image or concept that I find challenging.
A couple times, I only manged to create a series of one!
I still accept commissions, including those for site specific sacred art and Ikons.
I use many different mediums, including alcohol ink, clay, acrylics, oil, egg tempera, hand made paper for collage, watercolor, and pastels, to name a few.

I feel that working in a single medium is restrictive to my own artistic process and I also feel that the subject often dictates the style and medium that I will employ.

I am presently working with a fine furniture maker/designer, Eddie Hall, who has a studio here at Winter Street. I am designing and painting fabric for his footstools and ottomans. A few images are here on my website for you to view! We will also custom design a piece for you; matching color, imagery that will work in your space!
I am fortunate to travel as frequently as family, time and schedule will allow. I often use images that I have captured on these trips as my inspiration.
I also have a strong connection to the Sacred, and I believe that I am surrounded by my angels and muses who accompany and guide me on my journey. I feel much of my work reflects that

I am aware that my photographic images are not of high quality. I just recently made the decision to build a website and I used archival photos taken on my phone. If you are interested in any particular piece of art, please email me on this website and I will provide a better image to you.
Thank you for visiting my website!
I hope to hear from you soon and come visit me anytime you are at Sawyer Yards!
